Wouter De Paepe (2002, Ghent) is a Belgian-Dutch filmmaker. In his work, an exploration of the inner life goes hand in hand with formal experimentation. With a strong interest in cinema as a space for thought, he is developing a distinctive cinematic language that is both playful and cerebral. His films unfold through layered structures, dry humour, and an imaginative, dreamlike sensibility. De Paepe is currently based in Prague, where he is taking part in an exchange programme at FAMU, ahead of completing his degree in Audiovisual Arts at KASK in Ghent.
